I visited this place one Friday evening with a friend of mine and a friend of his. The place was very dark and seedy and had live music playing when we walked in. It was very bar-like and had a lot of roaming drunk people walking around the dining area. We sat at a table and ordered drinks and some sort of sesame chicken appetizer that came to our table on skewers. The food was OK, but I hated the atmosphere. It could have been the fact that my friend's friend was trying to sing a Janice Joplin song in an operatic tone, but needless to say, I won't be going back.

At Topside in Bristol, RI, I sat at the bar with a friend of mine for some drinks one night. Although we were just there for beer and appetizers, the bartender was very kind and always kept our glasses full. The mozzarella sticks and fries we had were delicious, and for a bar, they kept their bathrooms pretty clean. I heard that they have quite a delicious menu, and I look forward to seeing that aspect of Topside on my next journey. No more bar stools and pool tables for me!

Not bad, but I'm not a bar person. This place had your basic disgusting bathroom, huge bar with stools, and a few tiny, round, dining tables strewn about the room. My friend and I were meeting a co-worker of mine and her boyfriend here before a concert one night. We started, and finished, with a handful of mozzarella sticks, which were actually delicious. They had a few menu items, but it was mostly all appetizers. The waiter was very friendly and brought our food to us right away - piping hot. I probably wouldn't visit Finnegan's again, but it wasn't because of my experience. It's just not my kind of place. I just hope they've cleaned out that disgusting bathroom.

What a dive. I went here with a friend of mine and her boyfriend when they felt like playing pool one night. It was your average sleazy dive with a huge bar toward the back of the place and a few pool tables scattered throughout the middle. I HATE bars. I only went here because of my friend, and I will never go back.
